2022 CombatAUS Awards Gala Wrap Up

The inaugural CombatAUS Awards Gala was held in Melbourne on Tuesday December 6th. 

The night belonged to Katharina Haecker, who took out the Judo Athlete of the Year and the CombatAUS Athlete of the Year awards. Katharina finished her outstanding year rising to 6th in the world rankings.

Callum Peters also took home two awards, winning the Boxing Athlete of the Year and Breakthrough Performance Award. Callum won a silver medal at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games in his first senior international event, dominating all opponents on his road to the final.
